Artistic Research in Architecture

AR(T)CH-RES

Sweden's first platform for artistic research in architecture

A platform for artistic research in architecture at Lund University, AR(T)CH-RES, brings together senior staff and early-career researchers to explore the ontological and epistemological capacities in artistic, practice-based, design-driven research. The aim ofAR(T)CH-RES is to serve as a platform where design experiments, creative investigations, and critical practices are utilized as methods for developing new knowledge in architecture. By exploring generative intersections between art and science, and between the different art forms that assist in reimagining the built environment, methods and mind-sets are developed that will help shape the future of a rapidly transforming world.
